■ History of "NB (New Balance)"
NB was born in Boston, USA in 1906, and is a brand with a long history celebrating 111 years. Inspired by the perfect balance of the "three claws" of a chicken's foot, we started as a manufacturer of arch support insoles that support the soles of the feet at three points and flatfoot orthodontic shoes. The origin of the company name is that it is characterized by the "New Balance" that this comfort brings. In recent years, we have expanded the categories such as baseball, soccer, and tennis from the attention in the running scene to further progress, aiming for the world's No. 3 position of the athletic brand after "Nike" and "Adidas".
■ Start of "NBG (New Balance Golf)"
In order to expand globally, we entered the golf category from the fall / winter 2016 season, starting with footwear that utilizes the technology we have cultivated so far. In addition, NBG started the world's first apparel and accessories from the spring / summer 2017 season. The product consists of two lines, "Sport", which has a fashion sense centered on functionality, and "Metro", which has both fashion trend elements and functional aspects. We value the NB concept and philosophy, and send out a new fashion-conscious golf style.
