In 1959 (Showa 34), Kasco founded its predecessor, Kamata Toshi Shoten, in Shirotori-cho, Okawa-gun, Kagawa Prefecture (currently Higashikagawa City), and started manufacturing gloves (luxury dress gloves), which is a local industry.
