"Piccone" story born in Italy
Born in 1926 as the son of a Naples potter. From a young age, he went in and out of his father's workshop and was fascinated by the world of pottery, succeeding his father. In Naples, where there are many devout Catholics, many are in the priesthood, and many priests were working in the workshop run by Giuseppe's father. Growing up in such an environment is the reason why he made the priest he draws a motif. His customer, a textile designer, recommended printing illustrations on fabrics, which was the first step towards the fashion business.
