ATAO uses "Sleeping Leather *" as part of a sustainable development target (SDGs) to develop and spread up cycling products.
By using a dead stock material that has been sleeping in the warehouse without being used in high quality, it prevents waste of resources and contributes to the reduction of environmental impact.
What is a sleeping leather?
Sleeping leather is an unused leather material that is destined to be discarded due to dead stock.
Risks and issues
While there are many benefits to the use of three -ping leather, there are risks and issues.
1. Unstable supply
Sleeping leather uses unused deadstock leather material, so the supply may not be stable and may be difficult to maintain a certain quality and quantity.
2. Difficulty of processing
Sleeping leather may be hardened because it has been stored for a long time.
This may result in a level that does not have any problems in use.
3. Increase in cost
In some cases, special processing may be required to process and use three -ping leather, and costs may be higher than using new leather materials.
